Well, it's half way through the nine weeks, folks! I know you all have been reading and keeping up with your AR points- so I want to hear about the books you are reading. Warn people about books you didn't like, or nudge your friends to pick up the same book that you did. These need to be rather lengthy comments! Tell us what happens, what the plot, mood, and atmosphere of the book is. Why did you like or dislike the book? And remember folks....DON'T SPOIL THE ENDING!!!

  10. I am reading the best book. Also a lot of my friends are reading it too. It is called, Cirque Du Freak. It is a series of 12 books. It is about a boy named Darren Shan. Darren and his friends get tickets to a freak show. I will let you read about the rest cause if I tell anymore i will ruin it for you. It has to do with vampires, spiders, and so much more.i know right now it might not sound good, but one of my friends read the back of the first book just the back and she is hooked on it. It has action and adventure. It has some different kinds of mysteries in it too. My point is, is that it is a REALLY REALLY GOOD BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!READ IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. Yes, I am a Twilight Saga "freak." And my complete favorite book in the whole series is definitely, with out a doubt Eclipse. It's just so sweet, and honestly I hate books that just revolve around fighting and fear. It's just not my thing. So I completely recommend this book. I'm not going to spoil the ending, but it's really good!

  32. Ok,well. There is this series of books called Among the Hidden and i`m only on the second book out of about five and i absolutely positively LOVE it!!! It is by far the best series of books that i have ever read. I really don`t like reading that much and this book has got me reading a lot. Two nights ago i read twelve chapters in about and hour. The book is mainly about a boy that lives in a world were third children are not allowed. They think that eating junk food and having cats will make all of the humans run out of food o eat. and this third child named Luke and he was almost caught and he has to go to a school named as Lee Grant. He hates not being able to be called by luke and he is surounded by mean kids and he soon realizes that he is surounded by third children that are called by different names also. so you will have to read the book to find out if he makes it our is forsed to leave

  34. Over the summer I read Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. If by chance you don't know, they are a part of the Twilight saga. All of the books are great, but I like Breaking Dawn the most! And Jacob's book is not as boring as they say it is!
At the beginning of the school year I was reading a book series called Warriors. It is about (DON'T LAUGH) cats. I got introduced to Warriors by a girl when I was in the 6th grade. Warriors may sound stupid but it is very addicted. There are 6 books in the whole series, and I have read all of those. Then the second series also have six books. The series is called Warriors: The New Prophecy. I am reading Warriors: The Power of Three.
I also read R.L. Stine's FEAR STREET series.
I have currently read a book called Deep and Dark and Dangerous. It is a ghost story. Now I am reading a book called The Old Willis Place which is also a ghost story. As you can tell I read a lot!

  54. Well this year along with other years I get off to a very slow start as far as reading goes. I don't even see the point in reading. I mean, we all know that I'm training to become a cage fighter someday. I did manage to pick up a book. According to Alex Velasquez it was a cow the hank dog book. i finished it but i couldn't find the ar test for it... that made me very angry and was about to use my rex kwon do on the computer. after i counted down from ten slowly to calm myself down i went and checked out the stormbreaker book that everyone is blogging about. so far it has been pretty good and not that much of a waste like most of the books i've read in my lifetime. as i'm blogging this jake hambey is saying some weird things about how he likes to read.

Well so far this year i have read a few books.....one book i read was "Who was Leonardo da Vinci?" It gave a ton of facts about leonardo but sometimes it was boring. If you were to ever need to write an essay about leonardo, it is a great source if facts. Another book im reading is "Silver fin", the first young bonds book. It is pretty good. It leans more toward a guys interest but it is still very good. Ya'll shuld check it out sometimes cause who knows......you may actually LIKE it!!!!!!!! :D

  56. Hey guys! Right now I am reading a book called Stormbreaker. It is about this kid named Alex Rider who becomes a spy after finding out that his deceased uncle was one. Now his mission is to stop this crazy millionaire from causing a nation-wide epidemic. This book has great action and adventure scenes. Some parts of the book were boring to me, but overall it was a good book.

  57. I just finished the book, Olive's Ocean. Overall, it was a good book! But the ending was horrible! Reading the story, i thought that the ending would be one of the "happily ever after" stories, but it turned out to be the opposite! The main story is about a twelve year old girl, so i wouldnt recommend this book for a boy since there is a lot of girlie things in this book. This book gets a 6 out of 10!

  58. I just read and fell in love with The Wedding Planner's daughter! If you like girl books then you will love this one too!(: Also, I am almost finished with The Cupid Chronicles...its the second book in the series. I absolutely love these books! Its something that every girl can relate to: complicated parents, a big crush on a guy, popular girls that try to ruin her life....I wouldnt recommend these books to guys, but every girl needs to read it!!!!(:

  59. I would say that the best book ive read this year has been "Trading faces".It is a really intresting book, its a book about two girls, that are twins and there in a public school for the very first time, they have been in private schools all their life. This book is really good, i would reccomend it.Guys you might not like it but girls probably would.I told Emily Gaskin to read it and she loves it.Now I'm reading another book that goes along with "Trading faces" and its not as good as "Trading faces".
