Honors English
Advanced English: give me one of your best stories! ...but Proofread folks!
Do you have a nickname? well i do and mine is Howie. I got it when i was up to bat in a middle school baseball game when i chopped at the ball like Howie on the benchwarmers. He always carries around a sword and chops at the ball like i did but he eats sunscreen and i don't do that. that is how i got my nickname
One spring day I was outside with my friend in my grandmothers backyard. We were little then. She was trying to explain the concept of a DUM-DUM sucker. I had no idea what it was. She kept on and on until she finally gave up on me. "Gosh your such a dummy!" she yelled. She about busted my eardrum. Then i said, "Wait Im a sucker?" She groaned and hit me. I had a bruise the rest of the day.
I'm not sure if anyone is looking for me. I'm alone, stranded in the nothingness of this sea. The only things here keeping me company are the fish. I need food. I've gone a while now without any food. I'm just lying here, floating on some kind of raft. I'm tired and I want to go home. I just hope tomorrow will be a different day.
My boyfriend and I gave each other nicknames the second week we were dating. He says that I brighten up his life similar to what the sun does during the day. Therefor, he calls me sun-o. He told me to listen to a song called Intensity in Ten Cities by Chiodos and apart of the lyrics say 'you are the rain on my parade.' He quoted me this line which made me think of clouds, so I now call him cloud-o.
If I had three wishes, my first wish would be that I could instantly teleport to places. I think that that would be awesome. I would never be late for school or class. My second wish is that I had X-Ray vision. It would be so cool if I could see through anything. If there was like a contest where you had to find something under a cover I would win every single time. My third wish would be that I could make anything just appear right in front of me. If I wanted a new video game it would be in front of me. If I wanted a car I could get one. Those are my three wishes.
What is your nickname? My nickname is Lexi. Lexi is my nickname because it is short for Alexis. I got that nickname when I was a baby. My whole family calls me Lexi all the time instead of Alexis. Ever since I was born I have been called Lexi. I would rather be called Lexi instead of Alexis.
Have you ever wanted something you couldn't have? Well i've wanted something i couldn't have, but i ended up getting it. When i was twelve, i wanted a dog. My mom would not get me a dog because she said she did not like them. I asked her almost every day for a dog but she kept refusing to get one. After a couple of days i asked her again...she till said no.So as I waited for her to say yes one day she had told me that one of her friends are giving away a dog. My mom told her friend she would think about it.The next day after that i went to school as usual, then when I came home she was waiting for me outside with a dog.
Once there was an owl named Mackenzie. She loved green apple Blow Pops. They were her favorite candy. "I can eat a Blow Pop in less than 30 seconds," she gloated, "and I'm going to prove it!" the other animals were astounded. "She really can, can, can," giggled her best friend, a monkey named Chasity, "She just gobbles it up, up, up." The other animals grew tired of these lies, and told her to, "Go get a Blow Pop and prove it!" Mackenzie went and got her green apple Blow Pop. Her lips and the timer were both ready. The timer was started. "Tick, tick, tick." The timer was on 15 seconds. With little time to spare, the now frantic, Mackenzie started chewing faster and faster. "BEEP!" the timer was up. "Lets see it," screamed the jealous lemur Colton, " Come on, we haven't got all day!" She slowly pulled the stick from her mouth. The sound of shock covered the jungle as an empty Blow Pop stick fell from her hands! Now, Mackenzie flies through the jungle with the tittle, "Mackenzie Pop!!"
Nickname My cousin has always called me pumpkin. I am called that because I was born in October. She also thought I looked like a little pumpkin. My favorite plant is the pumpkin because it is orange like Auburn. That is how I got my nickname.
Nickname Most of my friends call me Jon or Jonny or either Messi. Messi is a professional soccer player that plays for Argentina. Well it so happens that i bought a Argentina jersey this summer in California and I wore to church one day and they started calling me Messi. I really like it though, because it gives me confidence in playing soccer and doing other things. By the way, did I tell you that he was the #1 player of the world? Well e is my favorite soccer player of all time. And there is another part of how i got my nickname, because I play soccer at church with the brothers there and i score once in a while. I just juke them with some fancy footwork, and so does Messi. So that's why they call me Messi!
i was tricked: last year around april fools day everybody in my 2nd period class thought it would be funny to play a trick on me. so anyways i am sitting there when someone tells me that i have bugs crawling in my hair. well i don't beleive them and i am just like whatever but then someone else says to me oh my gosh peighton there is something in your hair. so i am basically freaking out wright about now. i ask my teacher if i can go to the nurses office and she says yeah so i am running at this point down the hall to the nurses room i go in and say some people are saying that i have bugs crawling in my hair. so they check me and they are like there is absolutely nothing in your hair, so i am really mad right now!! so i go back to class walk in and everyone starts laughing it was so embarrasing!
I look up to Jarred Allen who is a defensive end for the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL. I look up to this person because he's a very cool and great person. Also I look up to him because one day I want to be a great defensive player in the NFL or college just like him.Jarred Allen is one of the best defensive players in the NFL. He averages around ten or more sacks a season! I Hope one day i average that many sacks a season in college or maybe in the NFL. Also Jarred Allen was ranked as the fourth best player in the NFL last year. Thats who i look up to
The best example of a character change that I can think of, is my younger cousin, eh, we'll call him Schmyler. When Schmyler was little, probably four or five, he was the whiniest brat the world has ever known, no joke. He would throw the biggest temper tantrums over the smallest things, and at nearly nothing but chocolate pudding and McDonald's Chicken McNuggets. When someone would kid around with him, he would cry his little eyes out and run into the next room. He continued on like this until he was maybe eight or nine. As soon as Schmyler hit third grade, he began to take an interest in football. All he could talk about was his pee-wee football team, and how he was the best quarterback in the world. Schmyler also started liking girls at that age. His palette was also more developed, and he ate things more sophisticated than Chicken McNuggets, like Mac'n Cheese. And that, my friends, is the story of the transformation of my younger cousin, Schmyler.
One of my many nicknames is elmo. i got this while playing canasta with my aunt and cousin. my cousin was talking about how i was emo and my aunt thought emo was the little red puppet elmo off of seseme street. for a while i actually introduced my self as elmo. so now my friends either call me elmo, puppy, or audy.
"Who I Look Up To" My R\role model is Zoie Rigsby. I look up to her because she doesn't get into trouble but she can still have a good time. She has an incredible singing voice and an awesome since of style. She doesn't look down on people,she's extremely nice and all around an awesome person. This is why I look up to her:)

He has the best personality a guy could have. He can brighten your day anytime just the way he smiles. He can make anything fun! Justin is anything that you would want in a guy.

When i started running someone said ,"hey she runs like a T-rex!"My coach watched me to see if it was true and of course it was. Eventually the name just caught on and everyone started calling me that. So every time i got up to bat they would yell lets go T-rex. Now all my friends call me that on occasion even though i don't like it!
Sucker......... Me and my friends Jack, and May walked down passed Waffle house. And as we passed it we May had found a dirty old sucker. Ot was rapped up like it was licked once and was thrown out of the car window. My name is Jill. That sucker was our only food. We are all orphans dropped off at Waffle House. May was so excited that she ran to the front of the pack screaming," Today we feast." Jack said with joy," What you found a turkey with cheese and green beans on the side??" " No silly i found a sucker" May said. After we all teased Jack for thinking that that thanksgiving diner will be just laying there waiting for our arrival; we broke the the sucker in 3 equal pieces and savored every last little bit. Now we were off once again but this time i found 3 suckers. Jack was holding May's hand, that his sister. i screamed from the distance," What a wonderful day I found 3 suckers this time!!!" Sure it'll rot our teeth out but it's good as it will ever get. May is only 4, Jack is 13, as for me I just turned 13 last week. So it is our job to keep May safe and really feed well. All because of May we would never gotten food. Thats why we started May, whose real name is Maybelle, called her sucker.
