Mood
What emotions or feelings do you have about this class and the learning that happens while you are in it?
Student Journal #4 “Mood” My mood well is mostly different all the time depending on the weather or school or if I feel well. Mostly I’m always happy and nice most of the time. But when I’m having a bad mood my personality changes I wouldn’t talk nor write and or even think correctly but I’m mostly never mad. My mood is o.k. but for other some think I'm just to nice. I mostly never listen to anyone that say you got to be mean I just ignore them thats just who I am. And no one can change that.
The mood I am in first period is kind of not talking like other classes. And why I don’t talk a lot in first period? Its because I am not really awake I mean I am awake its because I am tire and very sleepy. So when I go to other I am fully awake.
well my mood in first period is kind like not talking because is first period and a don't talk in the morning because I'm kinda sleep an I'm always quit
When I get in this room it puts me in a good mood because of the environment it is so calm and peaceful there is not much light but a lot of soft and bright colors is it not like other class room which is very boring and it will make me sleepy this class room is a good place to be when you are in a bad mood because of the soft music and all of the colors.:)<3
I like the mood in this class it make me feel relaxed! I like coming in this class! My mood in this class is not the same in other classes! I think the mood is great because I feel relaxed and i can try to learn a little better! I like this mood!(:
when i enter the room i get in to a good mood i am calm at what i do i stay focused on what i am doing it gives me a feeling that i can't tell you about i just feel like it is a very good place to be when u you are reading or writing.
well yea i really don't like school that much but when i walk in this room i fell relaxed.im some times in a bad mood and this room some times helps but other times it doesn't. i don't know. i guess some times my mood can't be helped by anything but most of the time it does help. This room can really relax a person=)
Everyday i always think what are we going to do in English class. It doesn't really bother me now ,because i know what ever we do it is going to be really fun and enjoyful!!!!!!! I feel excited when my two foot enter dis room. It feels like i am going to a different level everyday. It feels that I am in a game reaching to what i want. The fun and always wanting to learn in this class is always there . I love it. I t will never stop for me. My mood is different in this class than in P.E. My knowledge in this class is good. I love it!!!!!!!!! @n6!3
I have a pretty good mood in this class. it makes me tired but also happy. I usually act a little better in this class than in most classes though. This class just makes me joyous.
My mood in this classroom is calm. I feel relaxed. Sometimes I feel kind of sleepy because of the lighting and music. My mood is very relaxed in here sometimes I want to go t sleep.
Automatically when i walk into your room, I feel relaxed. I also feel peaceful and more accepted. I feel peaceful and calm because of the environment. I feel more excepted because there are no favorites in this class we are all the same. My actions are different this class than any of the others. I am quiet in here instead of how i am usually. I am load and hyper. i also feel safe. I don't really know why, but I do.
I like the lighting in this room. It's dark and calm and peaceful. It reminds me of my room when I have one small light on and I pull the shades down and my sister isn't in the room and I can just sit in my chair and read. When it is light in the classroom I think it's more draining then when it's darker in a classroom. When it's light in a classroom, especially in the morning, it hurts your eyes and you want to close your eyes and that makes you even more tired. When I'm in this room though, I feel more awake and it helps me concentrate
The music in here is very relaxing. Also, like someone else had already said, whenever i need to get something done or need to work, I turn on the music. The music helps me get motivated and ready to work. i absolutely love the talking scale. In other classes there is two options whisper very silently or just no talking at all, and sometimes no talking is the only option. But in here we have different levels that we go by that helps us. Your voice is very different from other teachers voices. Other teachers get us to calm down by screaming and yelling over us, but you always stay calm. Other teachers also don't usually let us have an opinion in their class, but you do so thanks. -DestinyLeAnna:)
The mood of this classroom is relaxing. Its relaxing because of the lighting and the background music. The mood makes me comfortable. The atmosphere also clears my head and makes me a better writer. I enjoy the mood of his classroom.
i think ms.naughers class is very peaceful because theres music,silence,nice lighting..i love coming to miss.naughers class everyday... it helps me focus on just that one or two things that were suppose to be concentrating on. i always love to hear ms.naughers voice welcoming to the classroom. its so enlightening because i know that to get us to behave she want yell. i also know that we can share our feelings without being laughed at or getting teased about thanks miss naugher for helping me(: -brittney yancey(:
I like the mood in here. It is very relaxing. I like this class better because it is so peaceful.And that it smells better in here then any other classroom. I really like the mood in this classroom
the mood is peaceful in here. the music is soothing and the light is not that bright . it's really colorful and clean. the paintings and the sayings are pretty.i would think the mood in here is really relaxing and peaceful you concentrate a lot more your imagination is stronger. the mood in here is a lot better than any other class all the other classes are so dull and boring.
I love this room. It changes the way we act!! there's some people in my class that are little angels in this class and pure de-vine devils in every other class. I myself am changed by it. it's so.....peaceful. why? Because of the other factors we've wrote on: breathing technique, lighting, and environment. Each plays a role in being so calming & relaxing. the music also helps me work more efficiently. trying to work in a dull, quiet room bores me. I HATE IT!!:P i also believe that the mood is affected by ms. naughers personality. if she was grumpy, gripey, and always irritated, these other things wouldn't help one bit!! thankfully she is a kind, sweet teacher who, at the same time, knows how to enforce the rules. :)
I always feel really relaxed in here. I mean the environment has to do with a bunch of it. I like how the chairs are cushioned and the smell in here is very nice. Also the lighting in here makes me feel really relaxed because in other classes they always have the overhead lights on and it hurts your eyes really bad. I am also kind of tired when i come in here. I don't know if it is the lighting or the smell or the music. It is mainly the environment that makes me so relaxed in here i really have no idea why though. That is really most of what my mood is in here so yea. :)(:
My mood in 6th period is calm and relaxed! i like coming into miss Naughers class because she always has the music playing and only the lamps and other small lights turned on. Her class room is like a peaceful place. My mood is also cheerful because i am just like so exited to be in her class room because its really quiet and calm and i like that!!!
The mood in Miss Naugher's room is 100% peaceful and relaxing. It is so hard to get stressed in her classroom. I mean when you walk in you just feel better and relaxed. Her room has this cinnamonny smell that just makes my nostrils jump for joy and also it is warm in this class. It is also quiet in here with music playing which is just quite dazzling. All of that relaxes me and my nostrils. I really like the mood in her classroom. It is pleasantly scrumpcious.
I HATE THE BREATHING TECHNIQUE!!!!!!!!!!! Im not trying to be mean to Ms. Naugher..... but i hate it. The reason i hate it is because i can not keep my eyes closed for to long unless im asleep dont ask why because i dont know.

In the other class rooms i just feel like talking in this class room i just feel like relaxing. I like the mood this class room puts me in.
mood,How i feel when i come into miss.Naughers classroom i feel safe and encouraged to do what is right. she inspired me to try hard and change the bad ways. i like coming in here and writing because it makes me want to write about my feelings. i feel undefeated when i write about the people i love and the people i care for the most. sometimes when i write i get into it and write a lot tell private secrets i didn't want anyone to know.knowing i could come into 6th period and write about my weekend and the day i had. thats what i like about the mod in this classroom.
Ummmm.......I dont like the music in here it is really..........LAME. I mean its just not my kind of music. The voice in here is ok. Miss naugher doesnt have an annoying voice unless she is getting on to you. hahahaha
I think that the mood in your class room is calm, quiet, sometimes very boring, and sometimes fun. Your class is always so quiet, which sometimes I like it quiet but not almost all the time. the music and colors are what makes the room calm, in my opinion. Your class can be very boring tho, especially when you make us read the whole class period, its very irritating.I would rather read in the car because I feel it makes me relax and focus more on what Im reading, because in class there can be so many distractions.I wish all the quietness wasn't almost everyday I wish we could talk more when were doing activities and stuff.
This classroom makes me feel very relaxed and comfortable. It's relaxing because I'm not a stranger to anyone. It makes me feel comfortable by the soft lighting and light music playing in the background. The seats are more comfortable than the plastic ones in the other classrooms. They also aren't attached to the desk. I really like the feeling in this classroom.
When I'm in Miss Naugher's room I feel very sleepy. The reason i feel sleepy is because the room is always dark and she has music playing that makes me sleepy. Probably the reason I get sleepy is maybe because it's the end of the day and I'm very tired. I stay awake in all the other classes so either Miss Naugher is a very boring teacher or it's the room that makes me go to sleep. Miss Naugher is not a boring teacher so I guess it's the room.
I think the mood is creative. That is because all the colors and pictures. This room is not boring at all. The colors just pop out. This is very peaceful also, because its dim in the room. It is also because of the background.
This class room makes me feel very peaceful, creative, and encouraged. As soon as I walk into this class I feel so relieved to be here, because it puts me in such a good mood after having a stressful day in other classes. It makes me feel creative, because of all the art work and quotes on the walls inspire me. Also it makes me feel encouraged to write even more and to add more detail to things.
The mood in the classroom is very comfortable. The music is playing very lightly. The room is always quiet when you are working. The lights are turned down low and it doesn't feel as boring like it does in other classes. All of my friends are in the classroom so i always have someone to talk to. And we don't have an assigned seat to sit in everyday.
The mood in this room is amazing!! The mood in this room makes me feel warm and safe and comfortable.I feel this way because all the colors and pictures. Everyday when you come in theres always a little bit of chaos in the room, also theres always a candle burning which also reminds me of home and I feel safe at home so the it makes me feel safe here!
the mood is very relaxing. it makes you feel calm and serene. at peace with everything around you. the pure blissfulness of the sheer calm makes you feel as though your floating on a cloud. the quiet of the room is enhancing to the feeling of harmony.
The mood in this room just makes me feel great. From the time I walk in to the time I leave I'm always in a good mood. The aroma is soothing and relaxing. Thats just my opinion, some people probably don't like it but i think it is magnificent. That's how I feel about the mood.

There are many moods in this classroom. To me, the main moods are peaceful, relaxing, calm, and creative. ITs peaceful because of the soft lighting and its usually quiet. Its relaxing because of the music and the breathing technique. Its calm because you talk in a soft voice and the color are mostly warm, or not very bright and its not very tense. its creative because of all the quotes and paintings on the walls.
I like the mood in your class it makes me fell at home. I like the people around me i know them and it makes me feel safe. what I like about your room is its colorful and pretty so I hope you keep it like that. keep doing what you always do. Mood is cool I like it cause when I try to write a story are somthing else I can see better and it don't make me sleepy. so i do this at home.
