Welcome to 8th grade English!

Hello! I hope you all received and read a copy of the syllabus. Remember, bringing it back ASAP and then putting it in your notebook is key for future success in this class. We will be referring back to it often!

If you have the time, I'd like for you all to create a post and add it to the blog tonight. Tell me what you like most about English class. ...And sure- go ahead and tell everyone what you like least about English class. But remember, everyone (including parents) read this blog. Keep responses honest and rated G.

    I'll be first. The thing I love most about English is writing! The thing I hate most?...Subject/Verb agreement. ew.

    well i love writing also and i hate the poetry . i just dont get it /: maybe after this year i will (: mrs. gilchrist is awesome !

    i dont like writing all that much but i LOVE to read :). i only like fiction and realistic fiction. biographies bore me.

    This is Tiger Do. I like most about English class is the atmosphere. When u walk in its dark and relaxing! Theres nothing i dont like about it.

    Kmart
    Kmart is my least favorite place to go. Everytime I go there the workers are not helpful! They always try to make you stop bothering them, and if you ask them for help they never try. Kmart is not very clean, and they never have anything I ever need. I do not know of anyone who enjoys going there. Everytime I go in there, there is only like 10 people! I do not go there alot I think the last time I was there was like one or two years ago, and I do not want to go back! Even though there is not alot of people there when I go it always seems like it takes forver for us to get checked out. If you try to return something, they are not very nice about it! I like going to walmart way better then Kmart, because at Walmart they check you out fast even though there is alot of people there. They are always very helpful and you never have to look for anyone to help you, at Kmart there is only enough workers to check out people. I would not suggest going to Kmart.
